Disable GPU scheduling with hardware acceleration:
From the Windows Settings, disable Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling.
Google ‘How to Disable Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling in Windows 10’ and first result should be a YouTube video.
Game mode
Go to Windows Settings and search for game mode and make sure it’s turned on.
WiFi vs Ethernet Internet Connection
An ethernet connection is always better, especially if you are playing online games. If you can’t use ethernet then consider getting powerline adapters.
Power Options
Open Control Panel (search for it in search box next to Windows Start button)
Change View by to Small icons
Click Power Options
Select High performance
Nvidia Highlights
Turn off nvidia highlights from your settings in Call Of Duty. Should be under graphics settings.
Repair Battle.net game
1. Open the Battle.net (Blizzard application).
2. Select the Call of Duty: BOCW game in the left panel (Below PARTNER GAMES).
3. Click on OPTIONS (middle of the screen, COG/GEAR icon).
4. Click on Scan and Repair.
5. Click on Begin Scan.
Nvidia Settings
1. Right-click on your desktop screen and select “NVIDIA Control Panel”.
2. Open “Manage 3D Settings” on the left-hand side of the control panel.
3. Select “High-performance NVIDIA processor” under “Global Settings” as the Preferred Graphics Processor.
4. Click “Apply” to save your settings.
